Practical
I had a problem with Lexus ES300, flashing A/C light and the air conditioning fails. So I searched on the internet and found some information as follows:

This bulletin is to provide information regarding countermeasures to the A/C magnetic clutch relay for A/C light flashing (inoperative A/C) issues on some vehicles equipped with a magnetic clutch compressor.

Applicable 2002-2004 model year ES 300 and ES 330 vehicles

Inspection procedure

1. Locate the A/C magnetic clutch relay
2. Verify the part number printed on the side of the relay
3. If the part number is 90987-02022, please replace the relay with the countermeasured relay P/N 90987-02028.

I have learned that old relays can fail and repair the relay itself.(contacts or points can wear out) For example, we can open the cover of the relay and clear the contacts, check a diode, coils. However unfortunately I could not open the cover of the denso relay.
